CONCERT CHOIR
Concert Choir is open to any Jefferson High School student grades 9-12 without audition.
Emphasis is placed on the foundations of ensemble singing & vocal technique.

BEL CANTO
Concert Choir is open to any Jefferson High School student grades 9-12 without audition.
Emphasis is placed on the foundations of ensemble singing & vocal technique.
A variety of musical genres will be explored.
CHORALE
Chorale is an auditioned ensemble of equally voiced soprano, alto, tenor, & bass voices.
This ensemble is made up of the most experienced & dedicated of singers at Jefferson High School.
Repertoire is geared to be challenging & performed at a level of high excellence.
A wide variety of traditional & contemporary choral music will be explored & performed.
Extra Curricular: After the School Day

Our Junior Varsity level Competitive Show Choir represents soprano & alto voices.
Rehearsal begins in the summer & continue throughout the school year after school twice a week. Competition Season has us busy most Saturdays from mid-January through mid-March.
This year, Connection is traveling to compete in the National Show Choir Competition in Florida!

SHOW BAND & OTHER OPPORTUNITIES
As schedules allow, students who are interested in additional singing opportunitiescan work with Mr. Ohnsorg to prepare music for additionalenrichment, outreach & community involvement.These opportunities include, but are not limited to: A Cappella ensembles, National Anthem opportunities, Solo & Ensemble Contest, State Honor Choirs, All-State Choir,& college scholarship auditions.
